This casual top deck eatery takes its name from the famous venue in the resort town of Hilton Head Island, SC. The arrival of Sun Princess marks the first time Princess has launched a new class of ship in nearly 11 years.

Often when cruise lines make small adjustments to a ship class, they slightly adjust the name – see Royal Caribbean’s Quantum Plus, or the NCL Breakaway Plus. Princess Cruises didn’t do that with Sky Princess – despite the fact that she offered enough enhancements over the previous Royal-class ships to be worthy of a subclass of her own. She is very similar in design to Sky Princess, and is capable of hosting up to 3,660 passengers when at full capacity – around half the size of the biggest ships in the world, but bigger than any other ship in the Princess fleet at the time.
